These 26 lbs, high-flying, dirt shredding, jump-killing machines are true monsters. If your A-arms aren’t up to the abuse this massive rig can dish out, look no further than RPM. These replacement rear A-arms are designed with the backyard basher in mind and can handle some serious abuse and come back for more. RPM rear A-arms have a triple beam style construction designed to spread impact energy across all three beams. Each beam’s cross-section is a whopping 5/8” (15.8mm) tall x 3/8” (9.5mm) wide. These massive beams reduce unwanted flex during normal suspension movement, yet allow impact-absorption during those not-so-perfect landings and crashes. RPM also moved the inner cross brace away from the chassis, eliminating the droop stop entirely. While this may seem counter-intuitive, the RPM test truck chassis was bent at the droop stops, clearly illustrating that extreme impacts were too much for the chassis plate to handle. RPM81332, Rear Skid Plate for most ARRMA 6S vehicles One of the most expensive replacement items on any vehicle is the chassis, especially when that chassis is a 3-4mm thick aluminum plate. On ARRMA 6S vehicles, there's absolutely no protection for the underside of the chassis. Rocks, roots, asphalt, etc, can all create nasty scabs, scrapes, and dents that will eventually lead to the need for a replacement. Reduce skid and scrape damage by installing this RPM Rear Skid Plate to your favorite ride. The areas most prone to damage are at the extreme ends of the chassis, and the RPM Rear Skid Plate protects the rear end with 4mm of RPM engineering grade nylons. This Skid Plate is not only extremely tough and durable, it also slides up and over obstacles much easier than aluminum. The leading edge has been rolled to a thin edge to reduce the likelihood of it catching. The rear is a full 4mm thick for a long-lasting skid plate built to handle some serious punishment!
