The combination of a beautifully reproduced body with the FAZER series chassis can’t be beaten. Kyosho has taken its standard touring car chassis and given it a full model makeover that has evolved performance to a new level. A simplified design with fewer parts has improved maintenance efficiency and reduced weight while core strength and rigidity has been increased through updated materials with ribbing and stiffeners on front and rear. In addition, the symmetrical chassis design synergizes excellent front-rear balance through the suspension with responsive control, regardless of the power source. Featuring front & rear gear differentials, oil shocks and full ball bearing specs, the high durability and impact resistance allows drivers to unleash the full potential of the chassis. Brake disc wheel hubs with two different offsets (0mm, +5mm) provide compatibility with 190mm and 200mm width body styles and allows the wheelbase to be adjusted to 260mm by replacing some parts (not included) for compatibility with other 1/10 scale body styles, in addition to the included body. This version features equipment that further increases the original monster truck’s already impressive performance and durability. The GRANITE 4X4 MEGA RTR Monster Truck is DESIGNED FAST, DESIGNED TOUGH — built for exciting bashing speeds and extreme, all-terrain durability. Features to enhance its unstoppable performance include a stronger chassis and retained hinge pin plates; steering with more clearance for stones; a castellated slipper pad and sliding gear mesh; and rubber shielded bearings throughout. The monster truck now also includes the Spektrum SLT3 transmitter and SLR300 receiver. The gear ratio can be finely tuned as the power module now uses a sliding motor mesh design. A two-piece molding screwed to the truck’s chassis serves as its electronics module, containing a waterproof receiver box, servo mount and ESC tray. The SLR300 receiver mounts inside the receiver box for protection from dirt and moisture. The ultra-compact ESC is screwed to the top of the module, allowing quick access to the on/off switch, while the servo mounts to the side. All three components can be removed together, quickly and easily. The differential module houses each differential unit in an innovative yoke design. Only eight screws need to be removed to release the front and rear yokes. The power module can then be detached, allowing you to pivot the gearbox cases for differential access. CIS83168SCA-1E 1/10 Scale '76 Ford F-150 4WD Scale Crawler, RTR (313mm Wheelbase) Black This original American classic, has now evolved into a shorter 313mm, 2.1 Spec rig, while keeping the original scale details, along with the classic Ford F-150 pickup look. The shorter wheelbase adds to the rig's abilities when crawling and makes this American workhorse even more desirable. With the SCA-1E Gen 2 layout as standard, the Ford F-150 with the CMS Mount offers a forward weight bias, whicht combined with the shorter wheelbase, aids in crawling performance. This places the battery pack and steering servo right up front and over the front axle. The issue of torque twist (something inherent in all shaft driven rigs) has been addressed with Carisma's ATT (Anti Torque Twist Transmission), which counteracts and reduces the effects of torque twist. This is done by ensuring the front and rear center driveline spin in opposite directions and flipping the rear diff. This creates a counter rotational force in the central driveline that significantly reduces torque twist and enhances the available traction where you need it most...at the wheels. The rig runs flatter even at full throttle, and the geometry is more stable and predictable when rock crawling. Along with the LiPo friendly ARC-1 Electronic Speed Controller, it features a lowered gear ratio in the transmission (5.92:1), giving a smoother low RPM range and greater control. To compliment this it has a sealed can 17T 5 pole motor, with greater magnetic force over a 3-pole motor, thus offering enhanced torque and throttle finesse. But it's not all about crawling, the 17T motor has the ability to still produce wheel speed when required, for trail running. Being a sealed can, the motor will be more weather resistant and require minimal maintenance between runs, a must for all Scale Adventurists. Giving the fully Licensed Ford F-150 body a black finish makes the chrome of the grille, wipers, mirrors, and wheels stand out even more. This complete contrast really suits the rig, and further enhances its original 1970's look. As with the previous release, the body is also LED Ready and accepts our own or third part LED Kits (sold separately). The chrome, 1.9" true beadlock wheels allow you to add weight to each rim if you want to fine-tune the weight bias, and to complete the wheel and tire package, are the soft compound ATAT (All Terrain Adventure Tires) which offer great all round performance. The trusty Carisma CTX-8000 2.4GHz radio system is supplied with the RTR rig.
